Dr. Emma Fernández-Repollet, Principal Investigator of the Puerto Rico Biomedical Research Education Program, gave an overview of the SEPA and PR-BREP programs.

Tony Breck, National Center for Research Resources, NIH; and Dr. Rebecca Poon, Technical Advisor of the Puerto Rico Biomedical Research Education Program.

Mr. Felipe N. Padilla Álvarez joins the Puerto Rico Biomedical Research Education Program (PR-BREP) as the new Director of Research Education. Mr. Padilla was born in Ciales, P.R. and attended the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus were he completed a Bachelor in Sciences with a major in Biology.
