The BREP Program participated in the Diabetes Health Clinic organized by the Colegio Sagrada Familia. The activity was held on September 27, 2007 in Corozal, Puerto Rico. The participation included a conference by Educational Coordinator, Ms. Odalis Garcia, which addressed the causes of diabetes as well as its treatment and prevention. This was followed by the reading of the comic book "Diabetes Danger". Pre- and post-evaluations were administered to the students who participated in the activity. The event was extremely successful, with attendance reaching two hundred and eighty three (283) students. The BREP Program appreciates the hospitality and attentions received from the staff and students of the Colegio Sagrada Familia and looks forward to collaborate in future activities.
