The BREP-SEPA Program participated in the National Diabetes Day-Health Fair organized by the Pediatric Foundation of Diabetes at the San Jorge Children's Hospital on November 14th, 2007. The Health Fair included educational workshops; glucose and hypertension screenings, as well as entertainment for patients and visitors.
At BREP's exhibit booth, Ms. Odalis Garcia, Educational Activities Coordinator, distributed 183 comic books entitled "Diabetes Danger" to participants. She also donated 75 copies for in-patient adolescents.
