Mr. Ricardo Nieves has a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Puerto Rico Metropolitan University. He is proficient in C++, R, SQL, Java, and Python, and has teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Mr. Nieves also has 4 years of computer-aided design experience with Rhino 6 and Onshape, and is knowledgeable in software for segmenting and visualizing medical images, as well as in the use of 3D printing (FDM and SLA) in biomedical applications. At the BioMedical Innovation Center, Mr. Nieves oversees the use of available technologies, prototype development, and student participation in innovation training.
