As part of the Leading Team, Dr. Emma Fernández-Repollet leads the organization and administration of the Center. Dr. Fernández-Repollet is a professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Puerto Rico Medical School (UPR-MSC). She is the principal investigator and executive director of the RCMI Center for Collaborative Research in Health Disparities (CCRHD) at the UPR-MSC and Chair of the Steering Committee of the RCMI Coordinating Center in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Fernández-Repollet served as Vice President for Research and Technology at the University of Puerto Rico System and was a member of the first Board of Directors of the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research Trust. Dr. Fernandez-Repollet also serves as the Technology Transfer Liaison of the UPR-MSC and is a co-inventor of five US patents.
